Stepping Into Action with Butt-Shaping Cardio!

It’s Hump Day… That means it’s time to add another exercise to your Bootylicious Butt workout!

Exercise (Machine): Stepmill
Target muscles: The stepmill targets your gluteus maximus along with your thigh and hip muscles for serious butt-sculpting!
Total time: 20-30* minutes

A stepmill is like a treadmill with cascading stairs instead of a flat ramp. The stepmill is one of the most underrated, but best cardio machines for burning fat. In addition to the cardio benefits, it is excellent for toning and sculpting your entire lower body.

To keep my heart rate up (and burn calories), I bump up the intensity. I also change the resistance, increase the speed, and incorporate other things such as toe raises, kick-backs, skipping steps, or stepping in a lateral (sideways) direction in order to hit my inner and outer thighs.

If you’re looking to burn calories, lose weight, strengthen and tone major muscle groups, the stepmill provides amazing results. In fact, it is considered to be one of the most efficient and effective cardio and strength building workouts you can do.
