The holiday season upon us! And we all know that holidays bring family and friends together to celebrate traditions and spread good cheer. They also bring lots of opportunities for socializing, eating, and drinking.
It seems everywhere we turn there is another table filled with food, from office holiday parties to family get-togethers. Even the most disciplined people struggle with temptation during the holiday season.
Research shows that most adults will gain an average one to two pounds through the holiday season. Too many holiday parties leave little time for planning healthy meals or sticking to a regular exercise regime. Over the next 12 days, I will be gifting you with holiday wellness tips! 1. Maintain, Maintain, Maintain:Rather than trying to lose weight during the holidays and then depriving yourself of some of the foods you really want and enjoy this time of year, plan ahead for it. Make your goal to maintain your weight throughout the holiday season.
