Sexiest Vegan Next Door Contest: Charlotte Observer ‘Style’ Feature

Today, I was featured in The Charlotte Observer newspaper due to me being selected as a finalist in PETA’s “Sexiest Vegan Next Door” contest. Here is what the feature said…

In the CLT_Style offices, we’re talking about …

Dr. Harriet Davis of Charlotte, who’s among 10 female finalists in PETA’s national “Sexiest Vegan Next Door” contest. She’s 43 and a family and sports medicine physician, competition bikini model and blogger (Vegan Bikini Doc – and don’t miss the photo of her in leatherlike Forever 21, on a Kawasaki with the Charlotte skyline). She said Wednesday “I’m so excited to be a finalist … Winning (would help me) dispel the many myths about being vegan.” People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals will count online votes (that part ends May 1, so get your votes in), “enthusiasm for winning” (how much they did on social media), “enthusiasm for vegan living” (from a questionnaire) and PETA’s own assessment of their “physical attractiveness.”

And please don’t forget to vote for me!!! Voting will end Friday, May 1st at noon (EST). Thank you for your support…
